Executive Assistant
Salt Lake City, UT · In person
The Mission
Our mission is to turn anyone with an idea into an app owner.
Today, Trot funds, builds, and markets apps in-house. Our creator network has produced 17,000+ videos and 280M+ views for 20+ apps.
We're building a factory that ships 100 apps a year and owns a piece of every one.
Who We're Hiring
Executive Assistant, Salt Lake City. In person.
You'll run the founder's operating system: calendar, inbox, deal flow follow-ups, contracts, invoices, travel, events, and the hundred loose ends that come with running a studio, an incubator, and a consumer app at the same time. You'll be in every important conversation and expected to close loops before anyone asks. You should be organized to the point of obsession, write clearly, move fast, and be comfortable telling the CEO no when something doesn't fit.
You'll work out of our SLC warehouse alongside the team that funds, builds, and markets the apps. No handbook. You'll figure it out and then write the handbook.
Every person at Trot is expected to ship.
How We Work
We're a team of ~10. Trot has never raised a dollar. Revenue pays for everything, including the apps we fund.
Everyone owns a lane and a monthly number. Daily standup, Monday goals, Friday written recap. That's the entire process. No layers, so we expect everyone to think like an owner.
You'll get the budget, the tools, and the trust to take big swings and move fast.
What We Care About
We don't believe in traditional JDs and we don't read resumes. All we care about is what you've run and whether you want to win.
Comp is tied to MRR. When the apps make money, you make money.
The Bar
We want to work with people who want to be the best in the world at what they do. Milestones are monthly. Hit them or you're replaced.
If that's not you, don't apply. If it is, apply with a 60-second video on the most chaotic thing you've ever organized, not a resume.
